Insomnia
Pepe Romero
I suggest playing Bach or similar spiritual uplifting music
that takes us away from this world and from ourselves into the arms of
God...thus giving us perfect peace. The person must first recognize and
organize all his senses and merge them into oneัthe sense of hearing. Then
merge all the senses with the music. This process will take us far beyond our
noisy little minds and our restless bodies...into the peaceful land of sleep.
Because music is so important for sleep, Bach was commissioned by Baron
Von Kayserling to write music that would help his sleepless nights. The
Baron was quite ill and suffered greatly during his many sleepless nights. The
result of that commission was the "Goldberg Variations" which was
intended to turn a dreary sleepless night into an uplifting experience.
So even if we can't sleep, merging our minds in music will make the
sleepless night more enjoyable.
