What else can I do?
1. 1. Ask your doctor for literature, and read medical literature
before you make decisions. You may not want to read it today, but you'll find
it quite helpful over the next few days.
2. There are specialized ways of breathing that may help you feel
calmer and in more control. Don't do this all day long. Do it for a few minutes
ever hour:
Inhale to the count of four.
Hold your breath to the count of four.
Exhale to the count of eight.
3. You'll have lots of questions. It helps to write them down on
paper as they come up.
4. Get some exercise: walk, jog, run, ride a bike, swim. Burn off
some energy.
